Hotrod Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 While the prospect is off-putting to many, it's also the dream of a lifetime to some; more than 165,000 people have applied to join the manned Martian colony effort envisioned by the non-profit Mars One Foundation. But the foundation is only accepting applications until Aug. 31. Dave Hounddriver Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 Perhaps we should follow the example of the Brits when they first colonized Australia.

Dave Hounddriver Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I've seen pics of Mars. Looks a lot like the tundra in Canada so no need for me to go. Been there, done that.
Jake Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I've seen pics of Mars. Looks a lot like the tundra in Canada so no need for me to go. Been there, done that.
