ITS BEEN POSTED ON THIS AREA OF THE FORUM AS ... 1. So we/you/I can be aware of it when "looking for laws& regulations" 2, My "purpose" is that when looking at "BI/immigration/Visa & this area of the forum" is that at least most of the members will know what the days that the BI will be(may be) closed .therefore avoid being late when to renew his visas/status ............................................................................................................................................................... (edited slightly from original post) The regular holidays are Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day) , April 9 (Araw ng Kagitingan), April 17 (Maundy Thursday) April 18 (Good Friday), May 1 (Labor Day), June 12 (Independence Day), Aug. 25 (National Heroes’ Day), Nov. 30 (Bonifacio Day), Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) and Dec. 30 (Rizal Day). The special non-working holidays are Jan. 31 (Chinese New Year) , April 19 (Black Saturday), Aug. 21 (Ninoy Aquino Day), Nov. 1 (All Saints’ Day), Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve), Dec. 26 (Day after Christmas) and Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve). Feb. 25 has also been declared a holiday but only for schools to mark the 28th anniversary of the 1986 People Power Revolution. The proclamations declaring national holidays for the observance of Eid’l Fitr (end of the month-long fasting or Ramadan) and Eid’l Adha (culmination of the Islamic world’s pilgrimage to Mecca) will be issued after the dates of the Islamic holidays have been determined according to the Hijra or Islamic calendar. http://mst.com.ph/2013/10/01/19-no-work-holidays/ 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
