Jollygoodfellow Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Must be a plot, who could afford these? :89: Rolls-Royce CEO to open Philippine dealership Rolls-Royce Motor Global CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös will waft into town to inaugurate the dealership of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manila. This will be the first time a Rolls-Royce Motor Cars CEO will be visiting the Philippines. Accompanying him is a senior team from the company’s Board of Directors and regional executives: Jolyon Nash, Global Director of Sales and Marketing; Richard Carter, Global Director for Communications; Paul Harris, Asia Pacific Regional Director; and Herfried Hasenoehrl, General Manager – Emerging Markets Asia. The showroom will reportedly feature state-of-the-art facilities as well as the first Phantom Series II Extended Wheebase motor car to be officially imported into the Philippines. The Phantom Series II is RR’s ultra-luxury flagship. The car debuted at the Beijing Auto Show in 2012. The Phantom is powered by a V12 gasoline direct-injection engine mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. 60 employees take more than 450 hours to build every Phantom, customized to the owner’s specifications. These may include any chosen paint color, premium wood veneer coming from a single log, and leather from hand-selected free-range Alpine bulls. Full LED headlamps, interactive maps, and exterior camera systems, and a starlight-mimicking headliner are some of the technological enhancements. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manila will be represented by Willy Tee Ten, President; Mike Cua, Senior Vice President; and Ryan Watson, General Manager. The showroom, at 5th avenue corner 26th Street, Bonfacio Global City, Taguig, is scheduled to open on October 9th http://motioncars.inquirer.net/15541/rolls-royce-ceo-to-open-philippine-dealership
Papa Carl Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Most local and national government officials should be able to afford one of these .... easily! Especially the guy down in Davao, who is suing that Aussie for not getting out of the way fast enough on his way to Jollibee.,,, I mean an important local meeting of some sort! Or maybe the counter guy at the Customs Department to replace his Ferrari that was confiscated before they moved him to another department. Or the Immigration Lawyer, who needs to get to work on time, so that he can plays cards all day! Or the BIR official who needs to update his current mode of transportation, to stay ahead of the other employees working there. Or,...... I better stop before someone spanks me for being negative about officials here in the Philippines. Just joking, they are all hard working, diligent employees who are only working for the betterment of the Filipino people. Papa Carl

Call me bubba Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Yes this would be a good way to "catch" those who are dishonest yet 2 schemes that was done in the past was that a "FOUNDATION" purchased, then lease the car to "Mr Honest juan" or it was given for him(or her) to drive the TITLE was never in "Honest juans"name as it remained in the "Foundations"name the other was "Mr I wanna influence you" would give a CAR(No title) to "MR Honest juan" as a GIFT :hystery: to drive, when "Mr I wanna influence you" had received what he wanted he would either transfer the title to "honest juan" or retake possession of the car how do I know this?? (according to philstar online news) :bash: several yrs ago "Mr Honest juan" woke up to find his car "stolen". since he was (at least in his mind) important, the PNP started a search for it, it was found being driven by "Mr I wanna influence you" mistress or anther family member with CLEAN TITLE ,, then the news story seemed to disappear never to be mentioned again :morning1:
