Veterans Day 11Th Nov American Cemetery Manila

on 11nov at 11am,

the American memorial cemetery is holding its Veterans day ceremony

 in attendance ( in the previous yrs) will be members from the various embassies ,

 the French, UK, and of what i recall a member(s) from the Australian military

for those who have not attended in the past, it is a event that is uplifting and if time permits you may be able to meet a few members of the embassy staff,

 last 2 events the new VA o-i-c was present.

The Manila American Cemetery and Memorial in the Philippines occupies 152 acres on a prominent plateau, visible at a distance from the east, south and west. It contains the largest number of graves of our military dead of World War II, a total of 17,201, most of whom lost their lives in operations in New Guinea and the Philippines. The headstones are aligned in 11 plots forming a generally circular pattern, set among masses of a wide variety of tropical trees and shrubbery.

ONCE AGAIN its VETERANS DAY

 for those who live in NCR if your able to attend, come it is a nice ceremony

this years event the attendance was much smaller than in the past,

Was informed  that a ceremony was being held at the Newly acquired  CLARK cemetery.

any way the Ceremony is always a event that is very uplifting and informational

 

best thing this time, that the weather was very Cool compared to past events
