Shipping From Luzon To Bohol

Does anyone have any ideas for shipping from Subic bay to Bohol?  We bought a 1500 watt generator, 26 kilos, and need to ship it.  We stopped at the nearest LBC office and the guy would not accept it until it was crated.  Reason being, he said, was because it would go by air and might have things stacked on top of it.

 

It is a small strong box, solid as a rock, packed in formed Styrofoam.  I was in the air shipping business for almost 30 years so I know it really does not need to be crated, although that certainly would help protect it.

 

I might stop by another LBC and see if they will take it.  I can crate it, but that is time consuming and adds to the cost.

 

Has anyone used any other services for domestic Philippines that I could check?

 

Abby's brother needs it to get one of his business' back up and running.  Still no power.  He has not been able to find a small generator on Bohol or Cebu.  They are very scarce.
