Until the local pimps are named along with the foreigner pedophiles, this is just a story intended to foment anti-foreigner sentiment amongst the average Filipino.I don't understand why a forum run by foreigners is helping to perpetuate the anti-foreigner sentiment. Now, I am not convicting this guy without a trial or other information, but when I walk around the mall here and see foreign guys in the 60's 70's and maybe even 80's walking around with girls that look maybe 13 to 15 and holding hands and talking and acting like they are gf's and not daughters or relatives, it makes me sick and I wish they would arrest more of them and get their arses out of the Philippines or into a jail cells.Sorry, I like sex as much as the next guy, but sex with kids is sick IMO and I wish it would stop. Mr Lee Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 Australian doctor wants early resolution of child abuse case Australian doctor Marcus Hodge has waived his right to contest the child abuse charges that authorities have filed against him. http://www.manilastandardtoday.com/?page=police2_may23_2009I guess that means he is guilty and admits it? Unless he was hit with the phone book to many times.I think he is a fool for laying down and giving up his rights,he will regret it later even if he is guilty.Anyway he knew the consequences of what he was doing and it will cost him a long time, even once he has done his time he faces the Australian law. :13_4_10[1]:

Mike S Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 The same in the US ....... if you are convicted of a sex crime in a foreign country you WILL be charged again by the US ....... and as far as negative reports about the Phils ........ anyone that involves themselves with a child or beats a woman or child should be plastered all over the web in any form that is deemed necessary ...... just because we live here in the Phils doesn't mean we should turn a blind eye or deaf ear ....... this forum is ABOUT the Phils not just tourist promotion ...... there are many sites that promote all the wonderful things about the Phils but not the stark truth on what really goes on here ........ of coarse if OTHER members would post MORE positive things about the Phils it would show that the good far out weigh the bad ...... just a thought ..... Mr Lee Posted May 26, 2009 Author Posted May 26, 2009 Jailed Aussie doctor has no diplomatic immunity I do not know why anyone would think he would? http://www.manilastandardtoday.com/?page=news7_may26_2009Sexual exploitation of a person below 18 is punishable by life imprisonment and a fine of up to P5 million under a 2003 law.People should take note of this and anyone who would chance sex with a minot is a total fool IMO.
