anthonytt Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Wondering how to make large purchases without using cash. Going to buy a car in a few months 2nd hand around P500,000. Do Philippine banks have Bank Checks ? Or another secure way to buy a car? Or buy land? Thanks, -Anthony Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
earthdome Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 With BPI you can make a direct transfer from one BPI account to another BPI account with no fees online. So that is one way if both parties have an account at the same bank.
OnMyWay Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 With BPI you can make a direct transfer from one BPI account to another BPI account with no fees online. So that is one way if both parties have an account at the same bank. You have to fill out a form ahead of time. I have done it a few times at BPI, most recently last week. You can fill it in online and print it, or just go to the branch and fill it out. When I bought my car I had the seller meet me at BPI and we completed the transaction there. I withdrew the cash and handed it over.

Thanks, -Anthony you can get a MANAGERS CHECK (cost varies from bank to bank) a Philippine managers check = CERTIFIED bank check from the usa in another topic, "exchanging your money " 1 member when he obtained the BEST RATE would meet the money changer at the bank to do the transaction, a SAFE way to transact
