There are some teenagers who would have been better off without the baggy pants barely hanging off their butts, the three hundred pound sheriffs deputy would have never caught them if their pants hadn't fallen and tripped them up.

seems that another proposal is in the works.

wouldn't  :th_exactly:  a BETTER INVESTMENT IN CCTV be better.

MANILA, Philippines - Besides prohibiting people from wearing caps inside malls, authorities have also proposed the banning of wearing of sunglasses inside business establishments.

Chief Superintendent Carmelo Valmoria, National Capital Region Police Office head,

said he made the recommendation  during a meeting with mall  operators and security personnel last week.

Valmoria  however,  added that shoppers can bring their sunglasses inside the malls but have to take them off once they enter stores and business establishments such as banks and money changers.

He said the propose measured will prevent criminals from hiding their faces from CCTV cameras installed inside the establishments.

Earlier, Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas

said the Philippine National Police recommended that  hardware items such as crowbars and hammers bought from the malls to be claimed only outside premises.

The proposal was made following the latest heist inside SM North Edsa jewelry section, where robbers used hammer bought at a hardware store to smash the glass panel to get valuables.

who says you need a HAMMER to break the display case?

these items are sold in other stores at most malls(cd-r king, true value)

it is easily concealed just slightly bigger than a tablet or be hidden in the crown jewels

So just how long have these type of criminal activities been going on and they just now decided to ban hats and sunglasses ..... come-on ..... does it take powerful political allies who became victims to suddenly enact a means to curb the crime ..... funny how this all plaid out after SM was robbed .... how about the full helmeted dark shielded cycle helmets that are used by assassin's to gun people down ..... shouldn't those be banned ..... but wait .... silly me .... money is worth a whole lot more than a human life .... JMHO

Mike you are using too much common sense which seems to be missing in the Philippines and in some other countries.
