This is what I like about the Phils, conscientious security guards checking rooms at 12.05 am. At least there were 3 notes left, probably written in tagalog.  :no:

 

US tourist found dead in hotel room in Philippines

 

MANILA, Philippines - An American tourist was found dead inside his hotel room in Quezon City on Friday.

 

Police are now investigating the death of an American Dominic Joseph Salte Jr.

 

Reports said the body of Salte, 50, was found slumped on his bed in a hotel on Timog Avenue, Brgy. Sacred Heart around 12:05 a.m. by a security guard.

 

Investigators arrived at the site where they recovered several types of drugs and three alleged suicide notes, reports said.

 

Police have yet to determine Salte's cause of death.

Security Guards go into bedrooms just after 12 mid-night without being summoned by room guests?  I won't be staying in that hotel.
