Medic Mike Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 MANILA, Philippines – Fire gutted a part of an elementary school in Cebu City past 1:00 a.m. today, New Year’s Day. According to the school principal, their cultural room – where students’ props and costumes are kept – was burned down. They doubt that the fire was caused by faulty electrical wiring, as there were no outlets inside the cultural room. The Bureau of Fire Protection is investigating the possibility that a firecracker may have been thrown inside the room. The room was also made of light materials, causing the fire to spread quickly. The blaze was put out in five minutes’ time and no one was reported hurt in the incident. http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/nation/regions/01/01/14/fire-guts-elementary-school-cebu
