Americano Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 The Captain and Crew went into hiding is the funny part. They were afraid of the angry passengers and probably too drunk to find the correct port.

Call me bubba Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 http://www.philstar.com/nation/2014/01/04/1274854/drunk-crew-dock-ship-wrong-port so very funny. :hystery: humm, what will happen to them? just another "sorry sir i wont let this happen again"? Twenty-four passengers of an Iloilo-bound roll-on, roll-off vessel found themselves unable to spend New Year’s Day with their families, as the crew docked the vessel in the wrong port – in Pulupandan, Negros Occidental. And the captain and crew of LCT Archangels Navistar are now in hot water, as they were allegedly drunk while on duty. According to Bombo Radyo Bacolod, the crewmen went into hiding when the passengers got mad after discovering they were in the wrong port. Coast Guard officials said the ship’s captain, Lodovico Ursia, and his crew could be terminated and lose their licenses if proven to be drunk while on duty. JJReyes Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Something similar recently happened in the United States. The flight crew mistakenly landed this huge 747 cargo plane at the wrong airport. The runway was too short. They had to hire pilots specially trained for this (aircraft carrier pilots?) and empty the 747 interior. Even the fuel was reduced to a minimum amount for the 9 minutes flight to the correct airport. No further problems, but the original crew was grilled by investigators.
