Now that more is being heard about the Philippines, people around the world are starting to realize that it truly is much more metropolitan than previously believed. jpbago Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 And yet I have never seen the Philippines advertised at any travel agents in the UK. Nor in Canada. I often see plenty of ads for Asia to every other country except the Philippines. The Philippines has a long way to go to match the tourists going to the other Asian countries, especially the repeats.

When was the last time you saw a western family vacationing in the Philippines. Not going to happen. I have seen plenty of young western couples and singles. Don't recall seeing many couples with children though. But you are correct, most of the foreigners I see are either older western men or korean.
