Ernie20 Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 This dome house sounds good. Hope Mickey can still put a photo or two up when he gets a chance. Thanks.

Should be cheaper unless I need to buy much DIRT.. Anyone build one yet? Do you have any kind of website with these pictures and any info you have about your build? Queenie O. Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 (edited) These structures sound fascinating--first time seeing any like them. Our concrete split level home built into the cliff side has withstood a couple of decent sized earthquakes and being that we're on the water in northern Cebu province, our house came through typhoon Yolanda with only minor damage, when this area was badly hit. Hope not to witness a super typhoon like that for anyone in the future, but there are no guarantees in life of course. I think it's about also about the quality of materials and the workmanship of your management and crew though, when considering/ building a concrete house. As an aside-- large feed and grain sacks can be purchased very cheaply here. Edited October 6, 2016 by Queenie O.
