i am bob Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 I had the same problem here Mike .... some sites would load and others wouldn't .... but I learned when I was having so many problems several years ago to just unplug my Globe router and Linksys router for about 8 mins and then plug the Globe router in first and let it initialize before plugging my Linksys router back in .... not sure just why but doing it that way works .... (got the advise from Google .... I ain't that smart ... :mocking: ) at the same time it clears and gives me a new IP .... :tiphat: :cheersty: 8 minutes? That's long enough for everything to reset - including any routers that aren't operating properly! 2 minutes is the standard time in writing and that is only because of the old analog computers... It took some of the old stuff up to 2 minutes to physically wind back to zero... Think stators and synchros... Gawd but I miss some of those old toys... Hehe!
