OnMyWay Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 (edited) We sure need rain in Subic! I know, be careful what you wish for! It really has not rained hard here in 2014. 2 or 3 morning damp drizzles and one tiny bit that could actually be called rain, a few weeks ago. Everything is really dry and brown and dusty. Edited April 5, 2014 by OnMyWay
Popular Post Jollygoodfellow Posted April 5, 2014 Popular Post Posted April 5, 2014 I can do you a deal. Just so happens I sell rain in bulk so I can PM you my account details and costs. I do not guarantee a date for the bulk rain I provide to fall but I do assure you it will be some time after payment.

earthdome Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Last year I noticed the same thing in San Fernando, La Union. There was very little rain from December through May. That seems to be the dry season for the west coast of Luzon. Baguio did get some nice rains last week.
MacBubba Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Might be a trend? Rains come later and typhoons come later in the year too?
OnMyWay Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Might be a trend? Rains come later and typhoons come later in the year too? Last year we were living in Laguna until April 1 until when we moved here. Even though it was the dry season, I think I recall getting the occasional rain shower down in Laguna and after we moved here. If fact I think there was rain right around the time we moved. I'm not asking for much. The trash gets picked up on Monday and Thursday, so it we could have 3 hours of steady rain on Tuesday and Friday morning, we would not have to water the yard as much. JGF and Fred, please arrange! :hystery:
jon1 Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 I think your request has redirected the tropical storm due in at the end of the week. Last night it was tracking towards Palawan, this morning it's forecasted to track towards southern Luzon. Great Job! We will be getting some rain out of it now for sure ;)

MacBubba Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 We were in Marinduque in early June last year - the locals were eager for rain, which would normally come in May. As for typhoons, they seem to still be coming late in the year, and not coursing as northerly as they would if they happened earlier.
OnMyWay Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 We got enough rain today to call it rain. However, today is Wednesday and my order was for Tuesday and Friday. No tip for you! :bash: :hystery:
