Forum Support Old55 Posted June 14, 2014 Forum Support Posted June 14, 2014 Has Philippines remained the most common location Foriegners chose to find love outside theirhome country? With the aging of the "Boomers" or changes in attatudes of younger Western women are there still large numbers of men willing to fly 7,000 miles or more for a date?

I think I have kind of gone off the pinays a little. Possibly because of some bad experiences in the past, or maybe I just don't have time anymore for a proper relationship because the ERUF takes up so much of my time these days :)
crad Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 it is a numbers game. The internet is a very effective way for somebody to penetrate into Filipino society, to understand how their families work, and how by implication not only their families, but clans, and tribes work. When they realize what you have done, and that you can extrapolate all that, you will not get any problems, from Filipinos,
Paul_QLD Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 changes in attatudes of younger Western women are there still large numbers of men willing to fly 7,000 miles or more forh a date? What changes of attitude - are you saying western women are getting easier to be around and/or less fussy of who they want to date?
Forum Support Old55 Posted June 15, 2014 Author Forum Support Posted June 15, 2014 My younger workmates under 40 tell me many women their age are more willing to truly work with and love the man in their life. For sure many marrages still fail but what I'm hearing there are more "good" ladies avalable than ten fifteen years ago. My question is are there more less or the same number of Western men traveling to Philippines for love? As far as I know Philippines is still a place an average man over 50 on a very modest income could find a young attractive girlfriend. This is still true? Tukaram (Tim) Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Almost everyone in our local expat group is over 60. There are a couple guys in their 30's, and a few of us in our 50's. But a friend from my old job is retiring soon and also moving here to marry his fiance. I don't know what is the most popular country - but there are a bunch of Joe's in Iloilo and we are certainly not known for our expats. The Pi's still seems pretty popular :tiphat:
Thomas Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 As far as I know Philippines is still a place an average man over 50 on a very modest income could find a young attractive girlfriend. This is still true? Filipinas in average accept biger age difference (and I believe lower income too) than Thai women do.I GUESS Cambodian women has similar messure as Filipinas. I suppouse their higher respect for elder, compared to how it is in "kano countries", assist SOME to what age difference* they find OK, but much it's a question of what alternatives they have, and which economic level people in their country are at. * 20 year old women with 40 year old men are common everywhere, such is BEST suiting biological/psychological (but perhaps not economical ?) from stone age, BUT if such combinations stay together, the 60 year old man DON'T suit so good to a 40 year old woman (=in the speed finnish of their fertile age) because then she suit best biological to a 20 year old man. So someone went wrong in the construction of human beings :mocking:

I think what Thomas is trying to say is woman tend to have that maternal biological urge at 40 which is in their minds their last chance at little feet before the biological clock strikes 12 midnight.
