Thomas Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 The TB death rate dropped 45% between 1990 and 2012. In Sweden we had "killed" TB :) many years ago, I suppouse by vaccination allBUT after the Berlin wall fell we came close to TB spreading again, worsend by they have made TB bacterias antibiotic resistant :( and by the much travelling nowadays between West and East Europe (and other poor countries) Sweden have got some TB cases again. robert k Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Does that mean we should all wear masks 24/7 when in the Philippines?
Medic Mike Posted June 23, 2014 Author Posted June 23, 2014 Does that mean we should all wear masks 24/7 when in the Philippines? Nope, just for pre-hospital personnel, because we come in contact with active TB patients so often.

(But I don't remember if it's this one, which isn't effective for ever, or if it's other of the common vacination.) --- "should all wear masks" But we better have TINTED WINDOWS in a CHEAP car (as e g Suzuki MT) to avoid police aiming at fining foreigners :mocking:
