OnMyWay Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Does anyone know if LBC delivers to most major cities in the US? I know that they don't have a large presence there but they probably sub-contract with someone.
MikeB Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I think they deliver to anywhere in the US. Costs me p1200 from where I live to NJ. If it's an "important" document like a passport it's about double.

Same experience, but once I needed to send a money order to the states and LBC will not (at least the branch I dealt with) send check, money orders or cash.
alsuave Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I've sent letters to the US via LBC and was told that it was DHL that made the delivery.
OnMyWay Posted July 4, 2014 Author Posted July 4, 2014 I've sent letters to the US via LBC and was told that it was DHL that made the delivery. Thanks, I didn't know that. They must give it all to DHL in LAX or SFO. DHL does not have very good coverage for rural areas anymore and a lot of it is covered by agents. Any how, this will be for a major metro right next to their CVG hub, so it should be fine. Is LBC cheaper than Fedex? ~ p2400 for an important document seems high. I guess I should check DHL and Fedex as well as LBC.

Forum Support scott h Posted July 4, 2014 Forum Support Posted July 4, 2014 No I didn't. That is one of the things I need to do is go check the Phil post office and see if they have a register letter system. Had my sister in the states get a money order and mail it. I will take a run at the post office tomarrow and post the results.
MikeB Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 You don't have to tell them what's in the sealed envelope.
Forum Support scott h Posted July 4, 2014 Forum Support Posted July 4, 2014 at LBC they made me open the envelope, and on the form it said no money, check etc. But then again THIS IS THE PHILIPPINES your mileage may vary lololol :1 (103):
