British Woman Arrested-House Of Horrors

Sounds like a lot of us got off on the wrong foot by reading and believing the newspapers... I hope we all learned a lesson in getting both sides of the story before deciding on what's true or not... I know I have!

I hope the truth comes out about this woman and her accuser - and it is spread across not only the Philippines but the entire world! And bodily she will be able to go on with her work with the children!

Triple LIKE Bob!  This is another case of us talkin' heads spreading our opinions based on one side of the story.

Yeah, I've learned my lesson too.  BossMan mentioned about 3 years ago that we had a convicted murderer in

our midst.  Love2winalot -- http://www.philippines-expats.com/topic/7696-cremation-or-burial-what-will-you-do/page-2#entry37710).  Boy, were we wrong about him.

We really appreciate the boots-on-the-ground reports from OMW, Jon1 and SubicSteve -- I would rather trust your

field reporting than any of those local media coverage.  Thank you guys!

Respectfully -- Jake

This is why I chose to speak out after confirming this information from a friend that has been here since 1992. The problem is whoever gets something published in the local papers usually wins favor for the duration. You rarely see a retraction or followup disavowing the charges. It is so wrong for anyone to be tried by media vs. due course of law (which we know does not exist in the PI). I truly hope the true instigator gets a meeting with karma...

This is the real motive behind the priest's intervention "This beautiful setting was ideal for another Preda children’s home and with the sex tourism growing, more children were being abused, trafficked and sexually exploited."  He wants her land and is doing everything possible to discredit her and take the land.

I hope she gets what she deserves...., whether guilty or innocent!

Whether she is the victim or the perpetrator, either way, I hope this incident provides an opportunity for these children.

I don't trust Shay Cullen and I don't know anyone in Subic/Olongapo who does.
