I am curious if you really mean NO money or 'not very much' money.  I don't know any hot girls married to guys with NO money.

Really dude I mean I have known really really hot girls and a guy with no money and no job. Her family and his family helped and that was about it. She worked to support him while he was looking. Hell my late wife was hot and stayed with me when I was broke as a joke with no job prospects.

I think it depends more on your definition of "love". But she gets a "like" for honesty.

Yep just confused is all.

Ahh.  When I was 18 I was married to a hot girl who was 18.  She supported me while I went to school and I had NO money (not even a dime for the payphone to call home one day).  But that was a long time ago in a land far away.  I was thinking more of mature men with no money expecting to marry a filipina.  I believe there are lots and lots and lots of handsome young filipinos who want a hot girl to support them while they go to school.  I believe those girls are looking for more.  A mature guy who is nearly dead (remember that part of my post) with NO money is not what I would call 'more'.

I have been following this thread with interest. I'm happy with  my 61 yr old Kano. As long as he keeps his Viagra perscription filled, no problems there. Would i love him just as much if he were poor? Nope. Do I love him just for his money? Nope. But, without money, in this country; life can be very tough. Love is a luxury that few Filipinas can afford. becky

False positive posts like this confuse me.

I suppouse she ment to be a COUPLE, BOTH love and enough economy are needed.   It was similar in our home countries, back when it was hard to survive here.

As they say, love is useless without money.

I know a lot of pretty hot girls married to guys with no money or even hopes of money though.

Well. There are some:

/"cougars" with toy boys   :)

/some proud women, who manage to earn enough by THEMSELVES, and don't want to kick out their man  - but some do when they find the man being to lazy.

/and some girls are FOOLED to believe the "kano" is rich.    (As e g the old Canadian, who only had retirement pay, but to get it he had to live in Canada officialy so his appartment there did cost him a big part of what he got in retirement pay. I suppouse he spend hos last money buying gifts to fool the girl AND her family he is rich to make them approve the marriage. (She was to young to decide herself.)  His daughter made a documentary about it. First she was just against the relation in general, but when she found out the details, including the girl was much younger than told, she took side with the GIRL AGAINST the Canadian.)

Well. Biological too  (except perhaps if the woman earn enough by herself) is ENOUGH* providing capacity an ATTRACTION FACTOR among other factors.

=Demands at levels at OTHER factors can be REDUCED by providing capacity.

*In difference from gold diggers, who want MUCH MORE than enough to live OK, they have more or less economy as ONLY factpr...

This is a true story about 2 foreigners and money or no money after when both of their wives passed away.

The stepson of the American scammed all his money immediately with the help of the bank as he says that only his and the wife's name was on the account. He was left destitute while the stepson spent his money on a motorcycle and shabu with his friends. The family of the late wife would not even buy him a coffee. I would see him wandering around eating bread so often, I would buy him a meal. Finally some church group along with his embassy sent him back to USA. His passport had expired and he was behind on his visa extensions as once his wife died, he had to go back to a tourist visa. He had no girlfriends.

The other was a German and when his wife passed away, her 19 year old niece moved in to spend his money. Then the sister of the late wife wanted in, so one night, there was a physical fight on the street. The police came and the three had to go to court. In the end, the German had to pay 1 Million pesos to the 19 year old. The sister then moved in and now has a new car, lots of gold and a big head (that is when they become boastful after coming into some money.).

The difference here is money or no money. The American was a much nicer guy, yet "No money.....No honey"

But I thought most Filipinos thought we were rich even when we say we are not. I never read this story about this guy. Do you have a link to it? Also aren't some guys here Canadian and on retirement? I know a few in different countries and you just have to maintain an address there to keep claiming it and go back every so often. So not an obstacle to retired Canadians living abroad I think.

Wow sad and crazy stories. I guess you always gotta have a back up plan and be real careful. Why did he have to pay the 19 year old and how did the sister get so rich? Sued him for assault?

He had to pay as he was the foreigner with money. If he was not in the Philippines, it would not have happened. This is the same reasoning as in car accidents. The sister got rich when she moved in with him and his money.
