RBM Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Was reading an older post on Canvas Alaya but was unable to reply. For some reason it's been locked. Anyway maybe of interest to the OP the above is managed, owned by the same Aussie. Set in Luhug amid beautiful sculptured gardens and green grass . The main restaurant is a divine old Spanish era house, beautifully restored in white. Its truly beautiful viewing at night. The Aussie also is hands on in the kitchen, (not sure whom cooks at Canvas) so food is as good as I have ever eaten. Deserts also fantastic. When in Cebu we eat there at least once, one pays for quality and normally costs us around P1300 with a couple beers. Personally I always choose outside as just viewing the house from the garden is a treat. From JY going down Gorordo avenue take the small lest turn by Metro bank, less than 100meters from JY. Have yet to experience such a romantic setting in this country.
