Forum Support scott h Posted July 28, 2014 Forum Support Posted July 28, 2014 Hey all, question for the group. Does anyone know that if you fly from Guam to Say LAX if you go through customs and immigration again? I think you do, even though Guam is a US territory, but just double checking my memory
jon1 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I am pretty sure that you will go thru Immigration twice. From my recollection of the Continental flights I took (MNL-GUAM-HONOLULU) I went thru immigrations twice and did a customs form on entry to Guam. Even though the layovers in Guam and Hawaii were short they expedited us through without delay.
Forum Support scott h Posted July 29, 2014 Author Forum Support Posted July 29, 2014 Thanks Jon.......Here is the scenario My Brother in Law has a multi entry visa to the states. His daughter lives in San Diego (nurse naturally). She will soon get her citizenship and the plan it for her to petition them. Brother and sister in law just returned from a six month visit last month. Well the daughter is having some problems and brother in law wants to go back and help out. They are afraid that if they go through LAX again so soon again they might be denied entry, which might reflect poorly on the eventual petition request. So they think that since it is easier to get into Guam. Go to Guam then hope a plane to LAX. Gotta love family drama lol :1 (103):
