jon1 Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) Thanks Papa Carl! I was able to get one for the promo rate. They also add a fuel surcharge (680p w/o baggage, more if baggage), a Seat fee (100p minimum up to 400p) and a 120p processing fee. Total cost was 2210p. Hopefully this is the last time that I will be doing this as I will be going the 13A route after I arrive from my US Vacation. frosty (chris) Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Hey Master Guns, What the hell is a seat fee? Your favorite squid -- Jake Jake, all of these low cost airlines charge a fee for you to select your seat, you can opt out and just get any seat they give you at check-in, that's what I usually do. I was once on a Tiger Flight, Singapore-Cebu and for the exit seat, which have more leg room, they had a notice on the seats,$20 SGD if you wanted to sit there.

Dave Hounddriver Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 I didn't see an option to not select a seat. Try to click on the seat they have selected for you. It will delete the default choice. With some airlines I have to click on an alternate seat and then click again on that seat to delete the choice. They are sneaky bastards.

i am bob Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 When I did my throw-away with Tiger yesterday, there was a box to check about half way down the page so that a preselected seat and charge was negated. So I ended up paying P2120 for a Manila to Singapore flight on December 4. The flight itself was a special on Tiger for P2000 and another P120 for processing the ticket sale online. I went back and checked - sorry all but the sale ends 31 August 2014 unless sold out. If anybody is interested, you better get on Tiger Air Promos ASAP! :attention: :mocking:
