BrettGC Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 He was a good guy. He used to let us former flag waving types grab a beer out of his fridge if we weren't in company and were off-watch "as long as we left our money on the fridge". Just goes to show, there's no accounting for character in the long run. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/exaustralian-navy-chief-geoffrey-smith-jailed-for-18-months-for-scamming-200000-off-his-ceo-credit-card-while-at-sydney-ferries/story-fni0cx4q-1227036370660?nk=5236e3fe0c33094925a389c0420937cd
jon1 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I think that money (and the power that comes with it) changes a lot of people and usually not for the better. I have watched people go from $70K to $200K and it inflates their head proportionally.
