Forum Support scott h Posted October 1, 2014 Forum Support Posted October 1, 2014 Now I know that most of you avoid Manila like a visit to the Dentist, or having your Mom-in-Law joining you on your honeymoon. But if you are in Manila and would like a little Vegas type action Resort World isn't bad. It right next to NAIA, has a higher scale hotel associated with it. Lots of nice places to eat, and a high end mall for the spouse to window shop at. Actually reminds me of Ceasar's Palace a little. The Casino itself has high roller areas on the 3rd floor but on the 2nd floor is where the average Joe like me plays. To give you an idea, the craps table is P100 to play. (Vegas average is $5). This place is much classier than any PAGOR I have been to and isn't quiet as snooty as the Solaire resort. Just keep it in the back of your mind if your swinging through Manila. :cheersty:

i am bob Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Thanks, Scott! It's not that I want to avoid Manila, it's that I don't want to live in such a busy city. But now that I am back to looking north again (Baguio?), it would be a good place for the occasional weekend... And we all know that the best coffee is always at the casinos!!! :tiphat: :mocking:
