Forum Support scott h Posted October 2, 2014 Forum Support Posted October 2, 2014 Sorry Meth but I just have to hijack your thread for a second. The title reminds me of the sign :mocking: I see here all the time "PLEASE FALL IN LINE" usually in banks and such... Well one day I got in the line, and fell down into the front leaning rest position (push up for those non army types). I thought it was extremely funny, the spouse however didn't, and the looks I received were priceless
Jake Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Exactly the same thing happened to me when I declared my newly single status on FB after the split from Aines. The majority were from women who were friends of some of my Filipino friends or women I'd met in the past, but a few were from her extended family and in one case I was sent a couple of "provocative" photos. I guess the upside is that if I ever decided to act upon these advances it wouldn't be too hard to verify their identities through mutual friends, their intentions much less so. Pity I live by the adage "Don't sh&t in your own nest", but I continue to stick with it. I'm currently doing the rounds of the dating sites and I'll post my current adventures there soon :1 (103): form An Orderly Queue, Please Hey guys, All throughout my life (age 64 now).......me, an old Filipino carabao has never had the pleasure of having a group of ladies wanting or needing me. It's gotta be an ego rush to both heads, I guess......he, he. But I've learned here that FB or other social networks can be your friend or your worst enemy. My previous topic -- Judgement of Character using tweeter, photos or greetings might be more difficult in today's deception. Now that our man Brett has regain his freedom of conscience, he's on the playing field once again. No doubt that the queue of ladies wanting his body will NOT be orderly. And when he finally comes back to meet all those lovely ladies, I wonder what kind of pasalubong (gifts) will he have in those BB boxes. Remember, our stud Brett was the manager of an adult toy store in Australia......he, he. I'm currently doing the rounds of the dating sites and I'll post my current adventures there soon And what an adventure that might be! Go get 'em tiger.......!

Alby Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Id agree with the posters here. The Kano for a Filipina is like a fish and her goal is to catch one at ANY price! I personally, have no problems with any of their intentions except when they lie and plan around it. So they'd try every conceivable outlet to snatch one. It's a supply and demand thing plus the huge pressure to get out of their jobless and improvised circle. Don't forget the barging factor too! It's like a status symbol. El Negrito Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 ::Sigh:: In some ways, I do envy you guys for being "pure foreigner" not just a halfie. You can sometimes claim cultural differences, but when I do, I get the whole "You're not even pure American. You just don't know where you came from" bit.. I hear you. I and a dual citizen and although I have both passports and such when I talk to people they don't want to own me as their countryman. Americans are like "Well you're really Canadian because you were born there." and Canadians are like "Well you aren't Canadian you are dual." I look black but great grand mother was white, good luck with getting whites to own me, grand father was pure 100% native American, good luck with them owning me, the black people say I don't sound black and because I was raised in Canada I am not really black. (I have that type of accent you hear on the news an every one says I sound white, lots of stories on that one). No one really wants to own me so I just own myself. I find educated people who appreciate me for who I am as a person and those friends are priceless. They don't care about anyone's, skin, accent or nationality. Stay strong young lady.
robert k Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 El, my experience with native Americans is that they will welcome you, as soon as they know you aren't after your cut of the tribal casino. :)
El Negrito Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 El, my experience with native Americans is that they will welcome you, as soon as they know you aren't after your cut of the tribal casino. :) And with mixed heritage they may think that is just what one is after. Anyway my mom really looks native and never was accepted so I have my doubts.
Methersgate Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 because I was raised in Canada I am not really black Priceless! I know exactly what you mean!My son Alex looks Pinoy, but was raised in China and in England from the age of three, and culturally he is (very) English. This causes immense confusion amongst Filipinos, especially as he understands more Pilipino than he speaks, and when he does speak Pilipino it is with a very broad English accent (worse than mine!)
