I'm not sure if I'm following the thread but there was mention of being on fb and receiving numerous enquiries about becoming friends from friends of friends or the gf/wifes friends.  All I can say is that I obviously don't exist! I have 2 fb accounts, one with 6 people 2 of which is my gf (she has 2 accounts) and 10 friends on my other account.  With the exception of 1 person, all the friends are either my gf or her family. But I don't mind because I'm really only active on one account and that is to send messages to my gf in between yahoo and skyping her.   As for queues, I find it amusing that people will line up in an orderly queue for a plane or ferry, but as soon as the gate is open you can throw the queue etiquette out the window, it then becomes a battle of only the strongest will survive
