Mike S Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Now before anyone gets their panties in wad ..... no I can't verify this info ..... just read it on another board so take it for what it is worth ........ However if this is true it is going to open a whole new can of worms especially for those who have not given the BI their new address if they have moved ..... as their new address will not show up in the BI files they maybe taken to the BI detention center until they can get it sorted out ..... I'll bet everybody will behave themselves now as one wrong word could cause someone to send a text to the BI claiming you are a an over-stay and even if you are not the inconvenience will definitely cause your blood pressure to rise .... if not spike .... :hystery: :cheersty: “SA IMMIGRATION MAGSUMBONG” PROGRAM The Bureau of Immigration (BI) instituted the reward and incentive program dubbed as “SA IMMIGRATION MAGSUMBONG”. fred Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) What are the advantages for a foreigner in the R.P being an illegal alien? Illegal employment? Social benefits? ha ha.. The only guys I know here that have not updated their visa status are still here because they were either a bit naive, cheated ,robbed or downright stupid.. The ones I know of all want a chance to go home...Save up,pay their fines and come back! Edited October 31, 2014 by fred

Americano Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Mike, The information you posed is evidently a copy and paste from BI Facebook page. I was on Facebook today and read the exact same thing which came from BI. I was going to paste it here but Mike beat me to it. Therefore it has been verified. And, if anyone thinks its fake you can text one of the Cell numbers. I don't know anyone who is over staying but even if I did I don't think I would report them to BI. Does this new program mean BI can't do their job so they are asking for our help? A few years ago I reported an illegal alien to BI because he also had a criminal charge against him. It took BI so many weeks or was that months to try to apprehend him that he had time to sell everything he owned and was long gone before BI came looking for him. I imagine this new program will be just as efficient.
OnMyWay Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 bit naive, cheated ,robbed or downright stupid.. I'll add mentally ill and criminal to the list. Plenty of all of these here. I think a lot of people come with the "live on $500-1000 a month" dream and don't include visa costs in a budget, so they immediately get behind.
Popular Post OnMyWay Posted November 1, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 1, 2014 I'll add that I wish they had this in the U.S. but that would never fly because we would be violating their illegal immigrant rights, whatever those are.

His son-in-law scammed his money but after 2 or 3 years some church group contacted the US embassy and he was then returned to California.

If the US is the same as the UK then their rights are tenfold what yours or mine are. That may be a bit skeptical but sometimes that`s how it feels. Maybe it`s down to the Human rights lawyers!
