FlyAway Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Wife went through this last year. They ask a few questions out of 100. My wife had me quiz her all the time on it. So I got a nice High School refresher course on it as well. Wife passed with no problems. Lady asked her 4 or 5 random questions.
Tukaram (Tim) Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Yeah, someone on Facebook was complaining about how hard the test is and that no Americans would pass... 'blah blah I don't know what I am talking about blah...' So I posted a link to the 100 questions. The questions and answers are online to study from. And they ask "up to 10" questions out of the possible 100. Most seem quite easy. I missed one on the 25 self quiz you posted - sorry I do not know some of the cabinet level positions... Not too bad for an old man. School was a long time ago! :tiphat:
MikeB Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Same here, missed one - Federalist Papers. If they give you the 100 questions in advance no excuse to fail.

Mike S Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Not sure why everyone is into the citizenship deal after all all you need to do is find your way to Mexico ..... walk across the border (don't even have to sneak any more) .... and in a few days you can pick up your drivers license .... SS card .... pictured ID (so you can vote) and numerous other benefits ..... I suspect the way things are going you will be able to get your citizenship papers with the next swipe of the mighty pen ..... JMHO ..... :hystery: :hystery: :hystery: :cheersty:

JJReyes Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 The test is oral because one of the requirements for citizenship is the ability to understand and speak English.
