jpbago Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Last weekend, at T3 NAIA, we asked the white taxi how much to take us to our nearby hotel. They said 650p. There was a triple line up of about 50 people waiting for the yellow metered taxis with one coming about every 15 minutes so we took the shuttle to Resortsworld Casino straight out front, then took a taxi from there to our hotel for 100p. Then on our return to T3 from our hotel, we took a white metered street taxi for 70p. ABS news showed taxi hold-ups for the past 2 nights in Manila. These are not people robbing the taxi driver but the opposite of the drivers using fake taxis or stolen taxis. It is so rampant that the pulis are setting up stings.

When necessary I will book a room at the Remington Hotel at Resorts World for the night before departure or after arrival. The hotel has a free shuttle which runs once an hour.
