Main problem, if we could actually get them, would be the condiments to go with them on a regular basis. and of course Well I can dream can't I? robert k Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Sadly, Long John's filets are so small these days in the US, they are more bread than fish. The Hushpuppies though are a delicacy when hot [abysmal when cold IMHO] and should sell well here.

Kuya John Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) The Hushpuppies though are a delicacy when hot [abysmal when cold IMHO] and should sell well here. The nearest thing we got to Hushpuppies here in UK........is Dover sole. (British humour again Jack) Well that in joke didnt hit any notes! But if any you guy's visit UK especially the North of England try Harry's. http://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/media/photo-s/02/21/20/e6/harry-ramsden-s.jpg https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=harry+ramsdens&tbm=isch&imgil=WzRqgA6d_8bB7M%253A%253BoRkyYEqV9ZAtfM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.pozitiv.com%25252Fnews%25252Fharry-ramsdens-boss-goes-undercover-for-channel-4&source=iu&pf=m&fir=WzRqgA6d_8bB7M%253A%252CoRkyYEqV9ZAtfM%252C_&usg=__R6KdqVYHmbxeUlE9HP4U1antpBQ%3D&biw=1429&bih=965&dpr=0.9&ved=0CFwQyjc&ei=-YemVNf0J-rD7gborIHIBQ#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=WzRqgA6d_8bB7M%253A%3BoRkyYEqV9ZAtfM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.pozitiv.com%252Fimages%252Fnews%252F2010%252F2010-07-30-Harry-Ramsdens-Logo.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.pozitiv.com%252Fnews%252Fharry-ramsdens-boss-goes-undercover-for-channel-4%3B1440%3B1000 Edited January 2, 2015 by Kuya John
FlyAway Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Have to check this out! Wife is not a fan of LJS but I sure am. We are in Palawan right now. Few more days till back in Manila.
Forum Support scott h Posted January 2, 2015 Forum Support Posted January 2, 2015 Hope they use LJS approved ingredients like Macdonalds does. Here at my local SM they opened up a Greek Gyros stand. It is run by a Greek Expat (but he has an Aussie accent). Gyros wasn't bad but not up to what I was hoping for. Obviously tried his best but used local ingredients.
