Banking: Opening An Account Without An Acr Card?

I opened my BDO account in Marikina with a my passport, British drivers licence, Philippines drivers licence and a birth certificate. When i was asked to produce my ACR-i Card i told them that it was yet to be issued and would take 2 months for it to be processed. I was asked how long do i intent to stay in Philippines. When i told them that I'm married to a Filipina and will be living here they processed my application with a P2000 opening charge.

 

Since then i have gotten to know the Branch manager very well and he has bent over backwards to help us. I cannot praise this man enough. Real salt of the earth person.
