Methersgate Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 My outlaws farm is a few miles from Molave so I know this town. 30k people, branches of Landbank, PNB, Metrobank. In my opinion despite being in Zamboanga del Sur this place is safer than Quezon City, but it is a provincial market town. Up to last month the only hotel was the Molave Guest House. Arranged rather in the manner of an American motel with each room giving onto the outside and all on ground level. P600 a night and no breakfast. Sadly maintenance has fallen by the wayside and whilst the sheets are clean and you should get aircon and hot water that is about it. The new Rielena Hotel on Mabini Street is very different - part of a shopping centre which includes the Landbank branch, 26 rooms, Family room with two doubles and breakfast P1,400 a night including a free massage (serious type - no funny business!) New and clean. At the moment not taking credit cards but they plan to do so.
