Only can say chismis (gossip) is alive and well in the PI, what they don't know about you they just make up, can be funny sometimes, best to keep under the radar.

Listen, If Shakespeare post-2148-0-26995500-1421566451.jpg  had been a Filipino, he would have sold a lot more books and Stuff and been a darn site more famous  :hystery:

Don't snigger, It's true.

The #2 indoor sport is gossiping about the #1 indoor sport and who is on which team and who is trading players! :mocking:

I am told by my spouse that gossiping is pervasive in her culture.  Glad that it's a practice she eschews.

It's actually funny how people (including Westerners) confide in her so much.  And rather impressive how she keeps her lid tight.  I can't count the number of times I hear about something that has come to pass and I find out later that she knew it would happen before it did.

Facebook is the no. 1 gossip medium for longer range tsismis; near range tsismis is still word of mouth of course.

I agree that it is the no.2 indoor sport, and that a great deal of creative licence goes into it.

K says she detests it and in fairness to her she does shield me from it.
