Looks Like A Hero, But......

We had a lot of fun playing around with Abby's cousin's Hero camera on the beach a few weeks ago.  I have decent UW camera with case and strobe, but the Hero HD video is far better.  I've been thinking about getting one.

 

I ran across this Hero imitation on the CD-R King website.  Can I ask one of you guys to buy it to see if it is worth it, then post a report?

I just bought the original silver one for trail riding, yet to use it but reviews are good.

Bought a CDR king dash cam and p c monitor. Monitor lasted about a year, still works but colour is bad and not able adjust. Dash cam cable broke at plug after a few weeks so used garmin cable. After around 8 months cam gave up.

Guess it's one gets what one pays for.....pay peanuts get monkeys syndrome. Cheap but disposable.

The silver is the 4 series, right?  That looks like the best one right now for the average person.  The black seems like overkill.

 

Happened across this video that Malcolm posted about Palawan, shot with a hero on a drone.  Very cool!
