jon1 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 After reading some of the replies on this, honestly I think it is all relative to income coming in vs what is an acceptable lifestyle. I know that I could live a hell of a lot cheaper but a substantially difference in lifestyle here. I would go by numbeo figures before that survey.. And that survey is still showing the Philippines in the cheapest category.
JJReyes Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 There are several websites offering similar information. One site is for business executives whose company transfers them overseas. The comparative numbers include tuition for private schools. Another is for retired expats and it list things like the cost of milk, fruits, beer, etc. Be aware that most of the information is solicited from those living in the country either local or expat. There are no dates so you don't know how new or old is the information provided.
