Forum Support scott h Posted February 12, 2015 Forum Support Posted February 12, 2015 As promised: Went there after a day at BOI (got my 13a finally lolol). New casino/hotel complex not far from Mall of Asia. Roads are new, wide and even have traffic lights that work. Lots of parking and being a new place still very clean. Some nice restaurants but higher end, and the normal gift shops. Lots of the shops have not opened yet. Very high end hotel here. lots of foreigners to be seen. As with most establishment lots and lots of people working there. The casino it's self is nice and seems to be geared to American tastes. Several Texas hold em, Caribbean stud and three card poker tables, as well as two active crap tables. Being a crap player myself, the dealers are very knowledgeable and the table stakes are only P100 a number. (as an aside, if your a crap player there are only 3 places with tables, Solaire, Resort world and C of D, that I have found anyway. As a casino I prefer this place, if we want to go out to a nice but reasonable lunch and play a little I would go to Resort world. Personally I am not all that impressed with Solaire, but that's just me.

Forum Support scott h Posted February 12, 2015 Author Forum Support Posted February 12, 2015 Any idea how much it cost to stay there? Did a quick search, around 200 USD, but there are 3 hotels on the property, plus there are some less expensive places in the immediate area. bows00 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 How far is it from the EDSA Entertainment Complex?
jpbago Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Any idea how much it cost to stay there? If you are looking for a place to stay nearby, Tune Aseana is a good one at $35. It is close to the airport, new, and clean but the rooms are small. It is 1.5 blocks from COD and 2.5 blocks from Solaire.
Sally Salvatore Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Has anyone played Texas hold'em there? Or at any of the casinos? I was living in Las Vegas for 14 years and played ALOT, too much you can say but I do enjoy it.
OnMyWay Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 My nephew went there last month and won p15,000, so it must be a good place. I forgot to ask him what he was playing but I know in the U.S. he used to mainly play poker games like Texas hold-em.
Forum Support scott h Posted March 8, 2015 Author Forum Support Posted March 8, 2015 City of dreams is the only place I have seen Caribbean stud, three card poker and texas hold em as table games. The type on the main floor. Each major casino I have been to in Metro Manila has a poker room like vegas. But we usually go during the day so cant say what type of action they have at the big boy tables.
jpbago Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Solaire has 2 or 3 dealer type Texas Hold Em tables but they were empty both times that I was there, just the dealer doing her nails standing there. Solaire also has live poker, Caribbean Stud, Three card Poker, BlackJack and Pontoon.
