stevewool Posted March 3, 2015 Author Posted March 3, 2015 It's funny what we ask can do without and what we really really really need... I've discovered that the only thing I really need is good internet (in trying to hotspot using my phone but it's not working that great... Darn 3G phone!), power to charge my phone, tablet and computers - and for my hotplate and fan! I have ac but I still prefer my fan! I bring about P30,000 in country monthly but find that, after everything, I'm only spending about P20,000... I wonder if I'm doing something wrong? :D A great reply, food and somewhere safe, thats the main things , a steady income, helps,

I still have 2 beer in the fridge, enough food it keeps falling out of the fridge and the cupboards full... Ate out 3 days ago, brought home a meal 2 days ago and going out tomorrow night again... Got that covered... My Special Someone is on a trip to Cebu to pick up her LET ID as well as get some missing records for her brother so he can graduate from university... I thought she might like to see some friends and do some shopping so I sent her my extra P10k from last month... Kind of surprised her as I said I would pay for her ferry to save her some money... Hehe! The only thing I want to buy for now is a coffee filter so I can make coffee straight into a carafe rather than a coffee maker... I'm running out of places to keep things! :D
robert k Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 It all depends on the individual. My rent as always was 6k piso and my water and electric combined for last month came to 702 piso. This is without aircon. :tiphat:
BigMook Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 you can live on just about any amount Filipinos can live for less than p10k per month for a family of 4 westerners can spend over p10k per day and still be unhappy the money isn't the issue, its the rainy day fund that matters make sure you have at least p500k available from saving for emergencies otherwise 2 people can live comfortable on p25k depending on your likes, tastes and hobbies
