Dave Hounddriver Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 With your 3 mbps plan does netflix or similar operate smoothly With my 3mbps DSL plan I can watch streaming movies IF they are coming from somewhere close. Example, I have one site that works well that seems to be based in Philippines and another that is always buffering that seems to be coming from halfway around the world. Richieboy67 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) I am on global lte which is supposed to be unlimited 1.5mb.. Rarely does it go up that high and lately the connection has been terrible hopefully because they are upgrading the tower. On good night's though we do watch Netflix through a proxy though not in high resolution at all. As for a cap I couldn't tell you. There is not supposed to be one supposedly. We get our internet as part of our lease agreement. I would gladly pay a little more for a better connection but I don't want to sign up for a lengthy contract. We have gone through about 650 gigs in the last 6 weeks. Keep in mind I'm a web developer and use ftp on a daily basis. 2 laptop's and 3 mobiles.
