I probably should have asked and I wonder if a marriage by a foreigner to a Filipina in the Philippines is recorded in his country.If not, then he could return to his country a free man. Yes, I know it is recorded in the NSO. He could never remarry again in the Philippines but if the marriage is not recorded in his country then he can remarry again in another foreeign country or maybe even his own country. Whether it is recorded by your home country or not - you are still legally married. I would not recommend bigamy... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
