Gratefuled Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I live in Davao and No, I have not attended any Kadawayan Festival. I do enjoy the traditional costumes and dances of the native Filipino tribes. I am just not too fond of crowds here in the Philippines indoors or outdoors. Mall crowds are more than enough for me and it's hard enough to move around downtown with it's bad sidewalks and vendors. I'm not anti-social but as far as I'm concerned, you seen one, you seen em all.

Gratefuled Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Hey Bubba, Actually it's like a Harvest Festival and folk lore celebration. Lots of local exotic fruit and pretty flowers. There are tribal dances with costumes of their tribes. Very colorful and entertaining. It's a thing of pride of your locality and the indigenous tribes that still live there/here. Lots of Big Sales ongoing at the malls. ( something most women love) That's how I see it. You might enjoy it if what I described is something you and/or your wife like to see and experience.
