Methersgate Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 (edited) Moneygram are outrageously expensive. You make that a blanket statement which I don't find to be true. A moneygram from Canada to Philippines costs $90 A moneygram from USA to Philippines costs $10 Which one is outrageously expensive? I have a friend who lives in Cambodia (no, he is not, so far as I know, a kiddie fiddler, but his Filipina partner's husband won't give her an annulment so he can't live in the Philippines) and I just sent him £200 from the UK and was charged £17.50 Edited August 20, 2015 by Methersgate

Seems a little steep for under $300 but as long as it came off the sender's side I'm ok with it. Richieboy67 Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 Well I finally got one of my over due payments from moneygrahm today! There is one that is only a trike away from here! I was actually very pleased. The only annoyance was having to fill out 3 forms and have a picture taken. The exchange rate was just over 46 there today! Richieboy67 Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) While on the topic of moneygrahm I just started wondering how long it would be before we run into the same problem.. Blocked due to picking up to much. $1,000, $2,000? Does anyone have any idea? Thanks Edited August 21, 2015 by Richieboy67
