Popular Post sonjack2847 Posted August 25, 2015 Popular Post Posted August 25, 2015 I thought this would be apt on this thread, French actor Jean-Hugues Anglade, who was caught up in the attempted terror attack on a train from Amsterdam to Paris, has called staff ‘inhuman’ for abandoning their passengers. Anglade, who has starred in films like ‘Killing Zoe’ and 'Betty Blue’, was on the train with his partner and his two children when Moroccan-born Ayoub El-Khazzani, who was armed with an AK47 and Luger, began firing. - Mel Gisbon denies assaulting photographer - The best bits from Patrick Stewart’s AMA - Reggie Kray’s family angry over new biopic El-Khazzani was eventually subdued by off-duty airman Spencer Stone, his friends Anthony Sadler and Alek Skarlatos, and British IT consultant Chris Norman, preventing a potential massacre from taking place. But in an interview with Paris-Match, Anglade has described how staff on the Thayls-operated train fled the incident, running past his family’s seats and locking themselves behind a service door. Anglade saw the assailant heading towards them from the adjoining carriage, and broke the train’s alarm, seriously cutting his hand in the process. image He then banged on the door, reportedly screaming at staff to open up and take his to family to safety, but says that train staff did not respond. Anglade instead had to shield his family with his body, expecting the gunman to arrive at any moment. But instead he was met by Sadler, who told him that the man had been restrained, and that first aid was needed for another man, Mark Moogalian, who had been the first to rush the gunman, but had been shot in the struggle. He has described the behaviour of the train’s staff as 'inhuman’ and 'terrible’, and praised Stone, Sadler, Skarlatos and Norman for their 'heroic courage’. “Without them, we would all be dead,” he added. It is very lucky that those 4 people were there.
