Gratefuled Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Well, I never been to England, but I kinda like the music, Stones, Beatles, and the list goes on. I kinda wish the queen would knight Andy Murray, even if he is a Scot. I kinda enjoy listening to that guy Cameron speak. What else? Ok, I like UK history too. CBE (Male) DCBE (Female [dame]) 2. Officer of the British Empire. OBE ( 3. Member of the British Empire.MBE There are many others but these are the Top 3 before a Knighthood. I kinda liked her. but they Do they are called "Dames". Men are called "Sir". Maggie was elevated to the Peerage in here own Right as a Life Baroness, Her Husband Dennis was already a Hereditary Baronet ( This Title passes to the Eldest Son of each Baronet when they Die) a Life Peers title dies with them They also are called Dame or Sir. Amy Whitehouse unfortunately had here nose in the wrong Trough Just as a side, Anyone in the World can receive a UK Honour It is just that you have to be Born in the UK to be able to use the Prefix Sir or Dame Hence Bob Geldoff is just Plain Bob Geldoff KGB We have now 2 Filipino Lady MBE's working in the British Embassy in Manila Honoured for services to the The Crown, the Ambassador, and the British Public in the Philippines. JP :tiphat: Edited to make a slight alteration. Edited September 5, 2015 by Jack Peterson
