patmac Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 I've been taking blood pressure med's , it's down 130/70 i'm paying $19.00 for 90 pills. I also take med,s to help with trip's to the head at night . Cost of that med went from $30.00 to $139.00 a month ,Witch has my blood pressure up. Is it just here in the States, or is big Pharma increasing prices allover the world, I go on line ,Prices of a most things in Canada are 70% cheaper but it takes about 3/4 to weeks receive it after they get the fax!!! So are things bettor in the Philippines ? Like see a Dr and get the script filled it at a pharmacy at a reasonable price !!!! I plan on seeing a Dr when i get there just for check ups and get the few meds i need Thank's All
Dave Hounddriver Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Strange coincidence, me reading this when I just got back from the Generica Pharmacy with my month's meds. Cost for a 1 month supply of everything I need: 1,521 pesos. That includes the Generic versions of: Prevacid Losartan Crestor Metformin Gliclazide Multivitamins Vitamin C 30 tabs/pills of each AND I got a free umbrella for spending so much money (Under US$33) So if this is the kind of medecine you take then you will be fine here. BUT if you need Levitra, (grumble grumble), there is no generic version of that exact medicine and I have to buy it in Cebu at 1,000 pesos per pill.

mogo51 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Sh..t Dave, I thought I was the only walking pharmacy, but I have a brother! Levitra, have you tried black ant, maxi man which you can buy in Angeles for less than 1000 pesos a carton, 10 boxes x 10 tabs. They will give a rhino a hard on!!!! Moving along, does anyone take Lyrica over there (used for mental health conditions, but also for nerve pain suffereRs) which is me and they have given me a real lift in life quality (5 disc ruptures in back for the non-believers), I get them back home in National Health but am anticipating that will change soon, but have to go back every 6 mths. Priced them here in Thailand 4000bht box and a box lasts me a week. Also cholerterol Lipidor or generi, blood pressure 'Twinista' or generic? These were also very expensive, worked outmuch cheaper to fly back to Oz. APART FROM THAT I AM FINE11
Dave Hounddriver Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Caiis 20mg ts over &35.00 a pill here That particular medication can be found on street corners for low cost but also low safety as you don't know what is in it. But the price is only 500 pesos for a container of 10 x 80mg pills.
