Gerald Glatt Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 SAME AMOUNT undepending of age with NO MAX AGE. (Inflation index updated.) The US does/did our cost of living went to fund the "disabled" workers who ran out of the last extension of unemployment (normally 26 weeks now 99) not finding a job in their fields that paid as much as their old won causes them trama thus qualifying them for social security disability. some of these 20-30 year old workers may never recover and thus suck on the teat of government programs. No one should starve No one should be homeless Also no one should make the equivalent of 40+ thousand in cash and benefits for doing nothing, thereby deprive the most important people in the world of their rightful increase (that already is much less than promised) , MY SS and disabled veteran benefits total $600 above the poverty line for annual income thereby depriving me of receiving benefits. If they did not my few pitiful investments and the fact that I have a home paid for would disqualify me anyway. While I truly believe that a society should feed house and care (medically) for its less fortunate members it should not provide so much help that productivity suffers. In other words why don they get steak while I eat hamburger. It's my money afterall. RANT OVER TY
