Popular Post sonjack2847 Posted October 9, 2015 Popular Post Posted October 9, 2015 I`ve been getting itchy feet a bit lately. This is a small town and there is nothing new here for me anymore so the other day I said to my wife I think we should move I am getting bored. Now I know the grass is always greener but I am used to being on the move so I do understand these things. Well my wife said she likes it here now and doesn`t want to move.Well I took this into consideration before making my final decision as I wear the trousers in this house. I decided that we will be staying here but it is my decision OK
RBM Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 My comment would be a wise decision as without harmony in the house one can be quite miserable. Often if one is bored it may not be just familiar environments but more motivation. Try something different, if not already doing try yoga, sports even walking different areas each day. Socialize meet different people. Easy to say but not knowing your situation difficult to advise.

Popular Post El Negrito Posted October 9, 2015 Popular Post Posted October 9, 2015 (edited) I`ve been getting itchy feet a bit lately. I decided that we will be staying here but it is my decision OK  I think you wussed out!!! (Scroll down to see why!) Kidding!!! :mocking: Seriously, any loving husband, while being the family head and making the final decision, is ALWAYS going to take into consideration the thoughts and feelings of his wife. And where ever possible he is going to make a decision with her thoughts and feelings in mind. When you marry you should always do your very best to put your spouse's (husband or wife) feelings ahead of your own. I could just as easily have seen your wife saying "Honey if you really want to move, then that's fine with me." This time you put her feelings first but for sure there will be many times later when she will put yours first. I think you are a GREAT husband in this instance and an example for us all to follow! :cheersty: Edited October 9, 2015 by El Negrito

Dave Hounddriver Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I told my live-in gf that I enjoy seeing her happy so long as it is not at my expense. In other words, if I am happy and can also make her happy then my happiness is doubled. If I am unhappy but she is happy then I am still unhappy. If that makes sense to you then you need to ask yourself: Are you happy there?

DavidK Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 If you start to act happy they'll really get suspicious. If you can stay grumpy for 24/7 they never realise.
