Have We Given Or Are We Giving To Much (In All Things) ?

:unsure:  You know how we are, we have gone around the Houses on so many things, Budgets, Houses, Private Schools and other Education. We have discussed many Topics on our loved ones yet sometimes we still moan, At Lunch the Other day I realized that I was moaning yet again about certain things and even threw in a Couple of new ones. 

Something My Daughter said that Night and I have mentioned this, gave me food for thought. She said, Thank You  I said what for? she said being you!

Now at Breakfast this morning (and I have since woken up) I said something to my Wife that just about wrapped up my thoughts on things. I said   (about Christmas gifts) is that a want or a need She said but Honey, We know, what you have enabled us to have and we are both Thankful for it But we didn't really ask for it. Did We? TM just mentions things she likes and you sort it. (Buy it that is) Me, I eat whats on the table [bless her]

 

So I have been sitting here thinking Did they? or was it me wanting them to have the nice House, all the Mod cons as it would make my life better, then sit and whinge about this and that and say HUH! want, want, want, then sitting and moaning. and it was me Give, give, Giving.

 

Just a thought here my friends, are we really, as I say Sometimes, our Own Worst Enemies ?

 I don't think I will change now though, Do you?

Hmm.....very interesting JackP.  Is it a balance between spoiling your family or just opening your heart in your own weird way?  I think that giving unconditionally (not necessary of value), especially to your young teenage daughter was met with spontaneous love for you......for being just you.  

 

That speaks volumes of how to manage a family and most of all, you taught her family values that she will never forget.
