Tukaram (Tim) Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 On my desktop PC I am on Windows 7 and see no reason to "upgrade". Why fix it if it ain't broke (and then have to upgrade all my other software that is incompatible with Win 10). I have learned to ignore the icon in my taskbar as annoying as it is... but a couple days ago I started getting a full screen pop-up offering the upgrade. Really? I just uninstalled update kb3035583... we will see if that helps. :tiphat:
Vince Runza Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I just uninstalled update kb3035583... we will see if that helps. See if you have KB2952664, and KB3021917. Delete them, too. Plus, expect to see them reappear every time you do Windows update.
Tukaram (Tim) Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I did tell it to ignore KB3035583. I don't have a lot of faith that it will... I had to uninstall it 3 times to get to stay off. I will look for those other 2 and see. The icon did not really bother me much, but the giant popup started recently, and I don't need that. :tiphat:
