Ems gets out to have a cool shower

The hot bath dilated her blood vessels. The cool shower suddenly constricted the same vessels causing a temporary decrease in circulation. She suffered orthostatic hypotension, a sudden drop in blood pressure while in the standing position. If she was lying down it probably would not have happened or been minimal.

She's 40 years old, healthy, but in extreme circumstances she might have died. You could have laid her down flat and lifted her legs to allow blood to flow back to her main circulation. You could have positioned her head to make sure her airway was clear, if you had that training. Community CPR.

She not taking anti hypertensive meds is she? In the same way a person with high blood pressure is warned not take hot or cold showers.

Thanks boys for all your concerns,

Ems is like most of our partners like to do everything all the time, she is very fit and healthy I would like to say,she does not take any meds at all too,

A full day out at sea world, home later she cooked then ate her snacks while watching American housewives,

So I would like to think she is back to normal.

She went from extreme hot water to cool and this constricted her blood vessels, causing a sudden drop in blood pressure. This is more extreme in the standing position, when lying down, blood circulates easier.

"Orthostatic hypotension" means low blood pressure when in the standing position.
